About
Jess Koch is an author of short stories, flash fiction, poetry, and is currently working on a novel. She primarily writes in the vein of horror or dark speculative fiction.
Her stories have been published in Metaphorosis Magazine, Fusion Fragment, Bourbon Penn, and many others. She holds an MFA from the Stonecoast Writers’ Program where she concentrated in popular fiction.
Jess is of German, Irish, French, and Native American descent, among others. She grew up on an island off the coast of Maine and her work is deeply influenced by the fishing villages, jagged coast, and pine forests of her childhood. She now lives in a pre-civil war colonial somewhere in New England with her partner, dog, and probably a few ghosts.
You can follow her on Twitter and Instagram for updates on upcoming events and publications.
